Bangkok oh Bangkok 2013!
Was supposed to blog this a week back.. i guess it slipped my mind. Oh memory.. But nonetheless, here goes :)
Been two week since i came back from Bangkok, Thailand and i don't feel like my heart and soul is back in SG with me. Yes. I think i left everything back there in Bangkok just like how i left part of me in Chiang Rai a year ago. Thailand gave me a different vibes from SG and i loved it. I love not remembering who i was in SG. I love not remembering what life is in SG. Initially, going there was to let go. Let go of unwanted things in my life. But, i failed.
Nonetheless, Bangkok was AH-MA-ZING. Yes. A M A Z I N G. The shopping, the food although i didn't get to eat lots of halal thai food but i figured i grew fat after being back from Thailand.
Overall, i enjoyed myself in Bangkok and would wish i had stayed longer. Just like how i went to Chiang Rai a year ago, this trip has given me a lot of withdrawal symptoms. If i had stayed there longer, i would've been a little happier i guess. Things there are just calm. I guess in every vacation it is calm and enjoyable. Gonna save up and prepare for more trips. I NEED more trips :D

Got a chance to be in a Thai traditional clothing except that what's missing is the long sharp golden fingernails they always have while dancing. It's made up of three different layers of heavy but comfortable Thai silk. It was cooling and not warm even though it's made up of three layers. The headset was quite heavy. Everything done in Thailand when it comes to pictures and trying out equals to paying. So i paid 200 baht to be in this costume. Approximately, SGD8. Well, not too bad. This was situated at Wat Arun Temple. To get to the temple, we had a quick boat ride which is filled with beautiful scenery. It doesn't take long though, just a 2 minute ride. The temple is quite tall and the view is good although i didn't climb up to it because like i say, everything that has got to do with tourism in Thailand is all about paying. It was 100 baht or 200 baht if i remember clearly.
